Pope Francis was greeted by ecstatic crowds of hundreds of thousands in the Democratic Republic Of Congo and South Sudan. Africa as a whole is a quickly growing Christian and Muslim region.
The pope delivered a strong message to nations and groups seeking to continue to exploit Africa, “Hands off Africa.” He called for a lasting peace, ending the venom of hatred, healing of wounds and an end to rampant corruption. He was greeted by excited huge crowds.
The Catholic Pope along with other Christian faith leaders in coalition, are committed and cooperating to reach common humanitarian goals in the region.
