The tabernacle, a box containing Holy Communion items, was made of 18-carat gold and

decorated with jewels and weighed 100 pounds, police and the diocese said. It’s valued at $2

million. The artifact was located at St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church in the Park Slope

neighborhood of Brooklyn New York.
